Opened in 2023, Ultrasound Care is an established medical, fertility and pregnancy ultrasound scanning clinic based in Kinnegad Co. Westmeath. 

 

Ultrasound Care is a private clinic set up to provide easy out of hours access to medical and pregnancy scans with quick appointment times and fast results.

We aim to create a safe, friendly environment whether you wish to get reassurance in pregnancy or skip the long hospital waiting lists.

Ultrasound Care has been set up by Kinnegad local, Claire Farrell. A advanced practice clinical specialist sonographer from County Meath with 21 years experience in medical imaging and 15 years dedicated to ultrasound scanning. A rarity in the sonography field, Claire is an qualified advance practice reporting sonographer. She specialises in obstetrics, vascular, gynecological, fertility, soft tissue and general ultrasound. Claire holds a Bachelor of Applied Science with Honours (BSc Hons) in Diagnostic Radiography and Imaging from The University of Hertfordshire and a Postgraduate Diploma in Medical Ultrasound from City University London. She has also completed all taught vascular ultrasound modules from University college Dublin (UCD) masters program.

All sonographers working within Ultrasound Care are Clinical specialist grade sonographers and all medical scans are reported by consultant radiologists, providing the highest standard of medical professionalism and care. We use state of the art ultrasound machines for the best possible images and utilise the latest innovative Cloud sharing platform to share images and reports with patients and referrers. This is done seamlessly via phone or email for the fastest results possible.
